Insipred by the beautiful objects composed of bold colours and geometric shapes I saw at Darkroom Boutique's Aztec collection this week I got making and created a (maybe slightly offensive) selection of pompoms and knotted belts and bracelets which could vaguely fit the theme.The aztecs were pioneers of geometry - while their shapes were driven by forms found in nature and the solar system, their bright colour palettes were obtained by natural pigments and dyes that could be gleaned from the lanscape around them. My colours turned out a bit garish but I really like wearing the pompoms on my bag and also as bracelets. CW
