One from the lovely Claudia. My first Vivienne Westwood notebook! The other is from my little sister Alice, whose Fuji Film Instax camera present to me provided much joy on the big day of Christ. I have now ordered five films and feel it maybe the present that keeps on giving but also bankrupts me. The film is cheaper than old style polaroid but still not cheap as chips. I also headed to the sales today and used some of my COS vouchers on this dark grey cardi jumper. I may have also accidently gone to Russell and Bromley and somehow found my card buying some nude patent loafers. Oopsss.
I am still a bit scared of wide legged trousers which stems for a tennagehood spent wearing them nonstop. The memories of trouser legs sodden from trailing them through puddles almost stopped me wanting to wear these new trousers at all. However, as the trend back then was for a leg length that preferably went far under your shoes I do not think I will have the same problem with this shorter version. Although dubious about the shape after years in skinnier styles I am coming round to the wider leg mostly due to the pure comfort of these.
I love white t-shirts and am going to do a mass shop for them very soon. This t-shirt is practically a dress although I do not think it would be appropriate to flash so much leg in most climates and countries. My T-shirt stocking up mission is for both me and Claudia, mostly so we can write silly things on them and wear them with pride. Cuppa Diem to come !
White Tee- Cheap Monday, Nude Vest - Uniqlo, Black Skirt - Primark,
Last week I was lucky enough to travel to the beautiful Stockholm for work. I fell in love instantly and decided to move there! Well at some point hopefully. I loved their tasteful Christmas decorations and the fact that nearly every window had a lit star or advent candles displayed for the street's of passersby. I got to view the new FW12 Cheap Monday collection and was very impressed with the concept and both the garments and accessories presented. Stockholm for Life!
I thought for this month, as I am late again, I would make a little animation. My favourite possessions decided to get into a circle together to discuss which was the best shirt of this month. Which one is yours?
Star Shirt - Zara, Silk Green Shirt - Equipment,
Plaid Shirt - Vintage, Floral Shirt - Zara,
Silver Frame - Penhaligon, Ring - Asos, Bracelet - Steven Einhorn,
Iron On Heart - Commes des Garcons, Nail Varnishes - Topshop, AA, Barry M
Letter - From China (Ebay), Tea Cup - Brighton Market
I am not sure when my pink obsession will subside. I hope for my sake it happens soon. I got this jumper from Monki in Stockholm and was pleasantly suprised that it massages you as you sit back in a chair. Now that's what I call functional fashion. I really wanted my hair to match the jumper so dyed it when I got home from work yesterday. Temporary fix, when will it end..
