TIP OF THE WEEK: FAKE YOUR OWN

Photobucket

I have wanted a 90s YSL T shirt for a while now but thought I would have a go at making my own. I purchased all the materials on ebay (The T-Shirt is Topman and cost 99p but there are also plenty of Fruit of the Loom T-Shirts up there which you can buy in bulk if you think you might have a few tries, or don't want to worry about making mistakes). I also bought a Dylon pen and some fabric crayons. I printed out a large YSL logo and taped it under the t-shirt to the wall. I used the Dylon pen to draw the outline of the logo and a black fabric crayon to fill in the centre. It reminded me of colouring in when I was little and trying to stay in the lines - quite tricky with a fat crayon!
It came out a bit wonky but I quite like the shoddy vibe and the way you can see the crayon strokes.
