THIS IS INSPIRATION

We are huge fans of This is England and can't wait for the new film (set in 1990) to come out. We love all of the characters' individual styles, especially Lol's andro look (although Smell generally looks pretty sketchy). The gang don't dress in a typically 80s way, unlike the New Romantics of the time and the gross 80s pop that was influencing the fashion mainstream. We had to find a way of emanating the look without shaving our heads. Quiffs all the way.

I WANT...

...one of these little terrariums by Score + Solder for my house. Such a great idea! Though I am not very good at making plants survive when they are in my care.

LAZY DAYS

I am cropping quite a lot of my jumpers at the moment which I hope I won't end up regretting, but I like the way you can have a shirt poking out from underneath.

Jumper - Folk, Shirt - Acne, Hat - H&M, Jeans - Cheap Monday, Bag - Louis Vuitton, Shoes - Russell & Bromley, Choker - H&M

CHOKERS

Two of my favourite necklaces at the moment, especially when worn over a buttoned up plain shirt.

Perspex choker - H&M, leather choker -  A Detacher

TARTAN BLUES

Another all blue outfit. This time with tartan extras. It reminds me a bit of when in shopping in Russell and Bromley they always bring you the matching bags to go with the shoes you are trying on. As if. I wonder if this actually works as a sales technique? Maybe for Grannys.

Jumper - M & S, Scarf - My Sister's, Key Necklace - Camden Passage, Skull - Karen Walker, Heart - From Childhood, Jeans - Cheap Monday, Socks - Urban Outfitters, Shoes - Vintage Bally

MIRRORED ENVELOPE

I accidentally bought this the other day. I took it as a small sign from God that I should buy it, as only an hour earlier, I had said how much I wanted an envelope clutch. Then, on my walk to Brixton station, I happened upon H&M and low and behold, there was my wished for bag. Hallelujah!

Envelope Clutch - H & M

HAT FROM AGNES

Some people talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Agnes, however, is very true to her word. She offered to make me a bobble hat with her loom and a week later, I was presented with this beauty. I am in love with this woolen creation especially as it brings me a step closer to my totally grey outfit. All I am missing now is the shoes, which is probably a good thing. I love the flicks of blue too! Thanks Agnes!!

BOROUGH, BERMONDSEY AND BEYOND

Last week I was lucky enough to have an evening out in Bermondsey at 40 Maltby Sreet; a wine shop that moonlights as a restaurant. We tasted many small bites which added up to make a very large meal, all complimented by a beautiful selection of natural wines. Top tip - go on Thursday to avoid the big crowds of weekenders. These were some of the photos I took on the, slightly longer than expected, journey from the tube.

ALL BLUE

I decided to reflect the rain drops outside and wear a totally blue outfit.
I also like the new grafitti outside my house. There is a cat down the road on another wall.

Denim Jacket - Vintage Levi's, Navy Jumper - M&S, Jeans - LUX, Bag - Zara,
Socks - Priamrk, Shoes - Russell and Bromley
