CLUB TROPICANA!

Today we created a "beautiful" sunset backdrop to beat the rain filled day outside and to fulfil the winning post suggestion from our clutch competition. We have been looking forward to this day for ages and were happy that at Club Tropicana drinks are free. Even if they are pretty lethal looking (the blue one?!). We got seriously into the holiday spirit and were pleased with the novelty props that the pound shop and ebay provided. We hope you like our tropical day!

These are slightly Addam's Family but I love them so much anyway! I wonder how horrific they would look with socks?

D.I.Y. SPORTSWEAR WIFEBEATER

This literally took me 5 minutes but I am really happy with the result! Now I have a sleeveless sportswear jumper to wear for the summer. The jumper is a cheap Fruit of the Loom one I got on ebay. You could make a variation with the neckline also. 

SHIRTDRESS / SUNDRESS

Sun-days call for Sundresses in this case a Shirtdress. American Apparell seems to always answers the prayers of summer wardrobe needs.

CUT-OUT

A shirt with cut-out shoulders by Maison Martin Margiela. I like to wear it with scruffy tight black jeans and clumpy shoes as it's actually quite revealing. Would be easy to D.I.Y. I reckon! 

HELLO MISTER POSTMAN

 

I am expecting two things to arrive in the post. The first, I ordered from Sweden on Saturday and therefore I need to be a little bit more patient. However, I do feel as if I have been waiting a long while for the above shoes as I have been visiting them online for about three months. My wait paid off as they are now in the sale and can be bought here. I will have this song by the Carpenters in my head till they come. You can listen here. Can't wait!
