Thank you to the lovely people at the Tate who invited us today to see the new retrospective of Roy Lichtenstein. We were impressed with how well the show was curated and the number of great paintings (especially the black and white ones) which we had never seen before. It was an inspiring exhibition with an insanely good gift shop. We are now both the proud owners of two Lichtenstein airplane print cushion covers and an array of postcards.

ReplyDeleteAh, Roy Lichtenstein is such a great inspiration to me. I would always use him in art when I was in secondary school. Seriously need to visit the exhibition, LONG LIVE ROY !
